Senegal implements new CTN system from March 1
From March 1st, 2019 (arrival to the port of destination), the Senegalese authorities will begin implementing the new CTN/BSC rules.
Recently, the shipping company MSC has issued a notice reminding the shipper/booking agent that the CTN/BSC number must be provided on the bill of lading sample. The shipper can apply for the CTN/BSC number through the relevant website! Responsibilities, risks and expenses arising from incorrect or missing numbers or deviations shall be borne by the shipper or booking agent.
