Since the measures of Changi Airport are tightened and regional isolation, we will notify us that the seafarers' arrival process is slightly changed as follows:
• Since June 1700h, 2021, a designated seafarer handling / receiving area will be established outside the lobby (see figure below) at the 1st terminal. Although seafarers will continue to leave the door as today, all ship / agent will take the blockade area to pick up their seven seafarers. Once the seafarer is handed over to the ship / agent company, they will escort their crew to leave the terminal to the T1 long-distance bus station through a dedicated path.
• To ensure compliance with SMM (Safety Management) within the designated area, the ship / agent company should be responsible for its crew and immediately leave the area. If you need any other processing (for example, take pictures), the ship / agent should process it on its vehicle after leaving the terminal.
[Sri Lanka]
As we all know, Sri Lanka allows the crew to perform crew through the land base isolation center (IC), but in 14 days (including transit), the air passengers in India, Vietnam, South America, and South Africa are restricted to Sri Lanka until they can be notified.
Similarly, the crew from the boat must go directly to IC, where PCR test is performed, they will always stay.
Ship
Once the negative PCR results are received, the ship crew will transfer directly to the airport to the airport according to the charter schedule.
If any crew's PCR detection results are positive, the intermediate care mechanism designated by the Sri Lankan Health Department should be treated.
Boat
For the ship's crew, PCR tests must be performed within 72 hours before boarding, and they are provided to the corresponding port hygiene officials before they arrive in Sri Lanka.
The crew who arrived at MRIA by charter will turn directly from the airport to IC. Another PCR test will be in the IC, the crew will stay there until the result, once received a negative PCR result, will directly transfer from the ship ETA to the designated port board.
All seafarers need to wear enough personal protective equipment during the transshipment. The crew is done under the supervision of the Sri Lanka Navy. Crew can be carried out in the berth / anchor of Colombo / Gallero.
