Due to the recent typhoon, South Korean ports are currently experiencing yard congestion, including delays in berthing ships at all shipping terminals in Busan Port.

The shipping company Hapag-Lloyd issued a notice stating that due to the impact of the typhoon, the berthing of all ships at Busan Port has been delayed.

In order to restore the capacity and productivity of the yard, some terminals only allow containers loaded with cargo to enter the yard, and these containers will be loaded on board ships leaving the port within the next 10 days.

Despite various measures, the terminal expects this kind of congestion to continue until mid-October.
