With the increasingly close international economic and trade exchanges, the cooperation between the logistics transportation industry in China and South Korea has become more frequent. China-Korea passenger and freight liner vehicle logistics has been launched in Qingdao last year, and the various pilot work carried out have achieved good results. This effective combination of international marine logistics and international road transport has greatly improved transportation efficiency, shortened logistics time, and reduced logistics costs, and played a great role in the development of logistics business between the two countries.

A few days ago, the Municipal Port Office and the visiting Ministry of Construction and Transportation formally signed the “Memorandum of Official Operation of China-Korea Vehicle Logistics”. The Ministry of Construction and Transportation, Qingdao Customs, Incheon Airport Commune, Asiana Air Cargo Sales Department, Qingdao Xiangtong International Transportation Agency Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Weidong Company attended the signing ceremony.

It is understood that China and South Korea's vehicle logistics is to use regular passenger and cargo liners from Qingdao to Incheon, South Korea, to directly transport air cargo from Qingdao to the Incheon Airport in South Korea through the form of whole vehicle transportation, and to directly transport aircraft from Incheon Airport in South Korea to Europe and the United States. .

Compared with other current transportation methods, this transportation method not only reduces the damage of goods caused by the loading and unloading operations of the goods, but also greatly shortens the transportation time and greatly reduces the transportation costs. Take Qingdao's air cargo delivery to the United States as an example, which is 13 hours less than the transit from Beijing and 10 to 35% lower in transportation costs.

The signing of this memorandum has injected new vitality into the cross-border trade service between Qingdao and Incheon, South Korea, where land, sea and air transportation are connected, and provides a new opportunity for the healthy and rapid development of the modern logistics industry at the two ports. On August 2, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation of South Korea will hold the China-Korea vehicle logistics navigating ceremony in Incheon, South Korea.
