European countries do not need ENS declaration

   ENS (Entry Summary Declaration) is the "Immigration Summary Declaration" acronym, referring toEuropeCustoms rules in advance manifest, from January 1, 2011 onwards, the EU will go to or through the European Union ports all cargo shipments mandatory "advance manifest" rules. The rule applies to all 28 EU member states.


  EU member states

Norway and Switzerland are not part of the European Union, but similar ICS systems are used in both countries.   The major European countries that do not require ENS filings are Andorra, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Russia, Croatia, Belarus, Macedonia, Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia and Montenegro, the Vatican and Bosnia and Herzegovina.


  ENS submission method
  For all goods entering the European Union, the company must submit the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) to the first port of call in the EU country to which the container ship is anchored and must submit it 24 hours prior to loading the port of loading.


  ENS submission category
  All goods imported into the EU; All transit goods (whether or not the final destination is within the EU); All transit goods (eg, by trailer, train transported to a country other than the EU); Unloaded goods on board (eg goods to Ukraine, Ship docked in Greece but not unloaded). In any case, ENS must be declared as long as all the ports of destination that are anchored before the EU ports first.


  ENS reporting data
  The information required to submit the ENS will be the same as the existing bill of lading confirmation information. The difference is that ENS requires a higher degree of accuracy for the address, description of the goods and any provided number. The following need special attention:
1.Shipper shipper (if EORI number, please provide): need to provide the full company name, full address, telephone fax, country, city and zip code.
2.Consignee consignee (if EORI number, please provide): need to provide the full company name, full address, telephone fax, country, city and zip code.
