Recently, the General Administration of Customs issued a public notice, in order to regulate customs management and trade statistics, decided since August 1 to abolish customs supervision mode code "0139".

Tourism products, small trade related policies have been canceled, in order to regulate customs management and trade statistics, decided to abolish the customs supervision mode code "0139", the relevant matters are as follows:
Abolish customs supervision mode code "0139", full name "for tourists less than 50,000 US dollars in the export of small quantities of orders", referred to as "tourism shopping goods." Tourism shopping goods refers to foreign tourists with their own foreign exchange to buy or entrusted domestic enterprises consigned out of 50,000 US dollars below the travel goods or small quantities of orders.
The above provisions shall come into effect on August 1, 2017.
