Learned from the HPL website, starting in April, the German shipping company HPL will launch a new weekly service EAS between Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and the east coast of Africa.
With the opening of the EAS route, HPL will operate for the first time in Mombasa, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
HPL said four 1,200 TEUs will initially be deployed on the EAS route, operating independently by HPL, and other shipping companies are not partners.
The EAS flight order is Jeddah → Mombasa → Dar es Salaam → Jeddah.
It is understood that these ports will be connected to HPL's existing network through the port of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as the regional hub.
