Hong Kong's container throughput in the first half of 2017 rose 10.8%

Recently, the Hong Kong Marine Department announced that in the first half of 2017 (January - June), Hong Kong's total throughput increased by 10.8% over a year ago to 10,189,000 TEU.
Among them, Kwai Tsing throughput of 8.042 million TEU, up 11%, other terminals throughput of 2.147 million TEU, up 10.1%
Hong Kong ports handled and innovated at a total of 1.662 million TEU in June, up 0.2% from a year earlier and rising for five consecutive months.
Kwai Tsing freight volume was 1.322 million TEU, up 3.9%, compared to other terminals handling the total number of containers fell 12.1%, only 34 million TEU.
