In November, the port throughput of Long Beach increased by 14.7%

According to the official figures of Long Beach Port, November 2017Long Beach PortContainer throughput increased by 14.7% over the same period of last year to 612,659 TEU.
Of which, arrival containers increased 18% YoY to 319,210 TEUs; departure containers rose 4.5% to 126,364 TEUs; empty containers increased 17% to 167,085 TEU.
From January to November this year, Long Beach completed container throughput of 6.84 million TEUs, up 10% over the same period of last year.
This year, the container throughput of the port is expected to exceed 7 million TEUs. Since the port opened in 106 years, only 3 yearsContainer throughput reached 7 million TEUs.
