Regional Container Lines lost $1.3 million in the second quarter of 2018

Airline expert in Asia--Thailand Regional Container Lines(RCL) announced its second quarter results for 2018. During the period, the company recorded a loss of 43 million baht (approximately US$1.3 million) due to the weak freight rate and high oil prices.
Honghai Container Transportation achieved a revenue of 2.9 billion baht in the second quarter, an increase of 2.8% over the same period of the previous year. However, fuel costs in the second quarter increased by 31.7% year-on-year, reducing the company's profitability.
In the first quarter of this year, Honghai Box recorded a loss of 193 million baht.
