Singapore Port Container Throughput Up 17% in October

according toPort of SingaporeFigures from the Bureau of Mines (MPA) show that the container throughput of the Singapore Port in October 2017 increased by 17% over the same period of last year to 2.96 million TEU.
Compared with the previous month, the throughput of Singapore Port in October was 5.7% more than in September.
From January to October this year, Singapore's ports handled a total of 27.73 million TEUs of container throughput, up by 5.5% over the same period of last year.
In addition, the Shanghai Port Group also released a few days ago the data show that in October Shanghai container throughput increased 5.6% over the same period last year to 339 million TEUs.
