The Ministry of Commerce will further promote the construction of cold chain logistics for agricultu
On the 28th, the spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce said that in response to the high loss rate in the circulation of agricultural products in China, the Ministry of Commerce will start to promote the construction of cold chain logistics of agricultural products from various aspects.
In recent years, China's agricultural product circulation system has been continuously improved, the national agricultural product circulation backbone network has basically formed, and the circulation efficiency has been further improved. At the same time, there are still some difficulties in the circulation of agricultural products. Among them, the high loss rate in the circulation of agricultural products is a prominent problem.
In 2018, the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce and the National Standardization Administration Committee jointly issued a notice on the typical experience model for the replication and promotion of cold-chain circulation standardization of agricultural products, and identified 31 pilot cities and 285 pilot enterprises to participate in the standardization demonstration of agricultural product cold chain circulation.
At the press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on the same day, Gao Feng said that the pilot demonstration of the standardization of cold chain circulation of agricultural products is to explore the issue of “improving circulation efficiency, reducing circulation loss and reducing circulation costs” in the process of agricultural product circulation.
According to reports, after more than two years of pilot demonstrations by the Ministry of Commerce, relevant localities and enterprises have explored some experiences and models that can be replicated and promoted. For example, in exploring the whole process of cold chain logistics in community distribution, some local enterprises explore the establishment of low-temperature preservation warehouses for agricultural products at the source of the production. After the agricultural products are pre-cooled and pre-cooled, they are transported to the community cold chain workstation by refrigerated trucks. The community workstation is equipped with a professional commercial cold chain system to monitor the temperature in real time and realize the whole process cold chain from the field to the people's table.
"In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will focus on improving the modernization level of cold chain circulation of agricultural products, establish a sound post-production service system for agricultural products, and start with commercial processing facilities such as production center distribution centers and cold storages, and promote agricultural products to become standardized high-value-added goods in Tiantou. To increase the value of the agricultural product industry chain to stay in the countryside and benefit farmers." Gao said.
In addition, in 2019, the Ministry of Commerce will also take various measures to further improve the rural and agricultural product circulation system, including promoting the upgrading of traditional retail outlets, encouraging the development of chain operations and joint distribution, and accelerating the short-board of cold chain logistics infrastructure.
