Sino-U.S. Customs cracked down more than 1,560 U.S.-related infringement cases

According to Weiyun Network reported that China Customs and the United States Customs conducted two joint intellectual property protection enforcement actions this year, China Customs seized more than 1560 cases of U.S.-related infringement.

Recently, the Customs together with Alibaba Group transferred to the public security organs with a cross-border sales of counterfeit "CONVERSE" shoes successfully closed the network, the suspects Dongmou, Niu Moumou both arrested, the total value of millions of dollars. In April this year, the General Administration of Customs and the United States Customs conducted the first joint law enforcement operation in 2017. Nanjing Customs seized a false mail package during the operation and installed a pair of sports shoes infringing the CONVERSE brand. The General Administration of Customs promptly started the contact and coordination mechanism with the cross-border e-commerce platform, and fed back the case information to the special anti-fraud team of Alibaba Group to lock the relevant sellers and account users through information matching. After the customs informed the public security organs of the information, in June 2017, the case was merged into the cluster campaign of the "cloud" large-scale transnational network selling holiday case launched by the Ministry of Public Security.
