Maersk opens new Asia-West Coast South America shipping network

As the only independent carrier in Asia - South America, Maersk owns a fully controlled network. This allows for more flexible and efficient commitments and a stable service and supply chain.
What are the changes in the shipping network?
By reducing the size of the AC2 route fleet, launched a new AC1 routes, and improved the AC3 line of business, in order to maintain a stable traffic.
Eastbound
· Sailing from South China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia to Chile and Peru is shorter
· New direct routes from Shanghai to Chile and Peru on the AC1 service route
Westbound
· Shortened schedules from Chile and Peru to East and South China, Taiwan and routes to Hong Kong to Southeast Asia
